How Much Help?
Some individuals need an hour or two to get organized as they launch their own recovery path while others need sustained support. What's most important is what works for each person. Recovery Wayfinder assesses the needs of the individual or family to help determine what level of support is best suited to achieve lasting and meaningful results and assisting people reach their personal goals. The key elements of a successful coaching relationship are trust and rapport. Trust involves safety, security and confidentiality. Rapport is built on mutual respect and honesty and is the foundation on which all successful recoveries exist.
Wayfinder Sessions
All sessions are held via zoom or telehealth. This allows you the flexibility of being at whatever locations suits your schedule.

Let's Assess
Designed to gather essential information about your substance use history, personal circumstances and unique barriers. This comprehensive evaluation enables Wayfinder to recommend a tailored action plan for success while helping you identify the level of ongoing support you need.
First 30-minute consultation is free
Additional consulting time as needed charged at an hourly rate
Initial consultation with individual and/or family members to create a guide plan for treatment, community support and a basic guide for daily routine to be accomplished independently.
Estimated time: 4-5 hours

Assess immediate concerns and draft treatment and recovery game plan and to-do list for client and family members

Research and identify appropriate and available treatment facilities

Research and determine referrals for intervention or additional support services

Create a guide to securing treatment options and planning aftercare goals and objectives

Provide recovery and relapse prevention plans that are easy to follow
Jump Start
Into Action
Providing support services prior to individuals entering residential treatment and aftercare support. Ongoing support may also be provided for the duration of the outpatient program and/or the establishment of an independent recovery plan.
Estimated support time: 3-4 hours per week
Duration: 12 weeks

Consultation to refer client to care (residential, outpatient, aftercare)

Provide family support and education when a client is in residential care and plan for exit and aftercare strategies

Assist client to set up easy and manageable daily schedules and objectives for first 90 days of recovery

Help client create a sober, safe living environment to support recovery

Create a relapse prevention plan with actionable steps

Provide resources for community recovery support opportunities

Bi-weekly sessions to address progress or issues that might affect recovery status

Weekly check-in with family members
Ongoing Support
Once an individual has established at least 3 months of continuous sobriety and feels secure in their recovery foundation, consulting services may be scheduled for follow-up and maintenance program advice.
Support estimate: 1 hour per week
Duration: 9 months
